It is really important that you read and adhere to the following information as failure to do so could result in your animal being refused admission on the day of boarding.
All dogs and cats must be fully vaccinated before they are able to board with us. Vaccinations must be current throughout their stay and certificates must be shown prior to boarding. A copy will be taken for our records.
It is important to note that dogs and cats receiving primary or restart vaccinations are not fully vaccinated until 6 weeks after the first vaccination has been given. Booster vaccines are required yearly.
Vaccinations required for dogs are:
- DHPPi
- Lepto vaccines
- Kennel Cough which lasts for 1 year and needs to be administered at least 7 days before boarding.
Vaccinations for cats are:
- Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FVP)
- Feline Herpesvirus (FHV)
- Feline Calicivirus (FCV)
In case of medication, please write down dosage and instructions and bring them along when boarding. Please make sure you bring extra supplies to ensure we have enough to cover any eventuality. Any animal showing obvious signs of a contagious disease will not be accepted for boarding. Rabbits are exempt from mandatory vaccinations.
We will not accept ANY pregnant animals.
Dogs must always be on a lead during arrival and departure. Cats must arrive and depart in secure carriers.
